University of Illinois Global Campus
The University of Illinois Global Campus is focused on innovation, quality, superior instruction, service, and accessibility. Our goal is to provide access to high-quality online education programs that merit the University of Illinois name. All degree and certificate programs are created in collaboration with the colleges and academic departments at the University’s residential campuses at Urbana-Champaign, Chicago, and Springfield. The curricula of our programs are developed by world-class University of Illinois faculty who are leaders in their fields of study.
Global Campus courses are delivered online and rely on asynchronous discussion and collaboration as the principle forms of communication. For most programs, there are no class times or scheduled lectures. The courses occur wherever you can connect to the Internet. No campus visits are required.
All Global Campus courses are eight weeks long. The accelerated format helps working professionals and students with busy schedules by allowing them to study efficiently and stay focused on their academic programs.
When you graduate from the University of Illinois Global Campus, you get a degree or certificate from the University of Illinois. No asterisks or fine print—we are the U of I.

Accreditation
The Global Campus offers degree programs developed in partnership with the colleges and departments of the University of Illinois campuses at Urbana-Champaign, Chicago, and Springfield. These campuses will award the degrees under their individual accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
